Program Description

Event Details

Come get your hands dirty and create your very own pumpkin candle holder out of clay at the Avon Library! This class is lead by Danielle Pugel, professional ceramicist and teacher. Registration is required and opens one month before the program. Tweens, Teens, and Adults are welcome to attend this free class. Seating is limited and registration is required. If you are unable to attend please cancel your registration to open your spot for another participant.

Danielle Pugel is a multimedia artist and ceramics instructor local to the Indianapolis area. She has spent the decade since receiving her bachelors degrees in Ceramics and Sculpture at Herron School of Art and Design practicing and exploring materials and helping others discover and grow their inner creativity. Emotions, science, mindfulness, and curiosity are all important in both her work and teaching approach.

Crafting Connections is a series of Art classes at A-WTPL made possible by an Arts Project Support Grant through the Indiana Arts Commission. Learn a new art form from a professional artist while connecting with your neighbors and community members.

Activities are made possible in part by Noblesville Creates and the Indiana Arts Commission, which receives support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Participants will be asked to complete a survey at the end of the program. We appreciate your feedback! If you require special accommodations, please email jwakolbinger@avonlibrary.net and we will do our best to accommodate you.
